I’m Wendy and I have lived in Michigan my entire life. Having grown up along the shores of Lake Michigan, I love the lake, being outdoors and even Tulip Time in Holland. After graduating from college, I was drawn back to Holland to raise my own family because of the competitive educational opportunities, the safe community and the beautiful location.
My previous career was with a local college where I was an admissions advisor. I just love helping people and there I was able to match students up the the careers they wanted. As a Realtor, I get to match people with the properties they want…guess I was born to be a matchmaker! As a powerful negotiator, my experience has also taught me strong organizational and customer service skills. You’ll find I’m sincere, honest, diligent, thorough and truly enjoy helping my clients find their new homes!
While always being very passionate about working with people, I am determined to help my clients reach their goals. Patience is another good attribute I possess…I won’t rush anyone into making a decision, this is often someone’s biggest investment!
Helping people build their dream careers was very satisfying, so I decided to take it one step further and help people locate their dream homes. Earning “Rookie of the Year” honors in my first full year in Real Estate 15+ years ago, let my experience work for you!
Giving back is very important to me so I volunteer in my church and community. I am a board member for Hand2Hand, a Kid’s Hope mentor, facilitate needs at the Dunes (West Ottawa’s alternative high school) and bring as much attention as possible to childhood hunger and homelessness. When not working with clients, or volunteering in the community, you can find me with my husband and children, traveling, playing sports or enjoying the outdoors.
This year, 2019, I will be donating a portion of all my closing commissions to an organization that provides backpacks (filled with new items such as pjs, toothbrushes and cozy blankets) to kiddos entering the Foster Care system. Work with me and we’ll make a difference in some lives!
